Hi, my name is Kristy Chelman.

I am super excited to be teaching with Micro Classes Australia starting Term 1, 2025 for 7-11 year olds. In 2026 I am offering one to one. I am a specialist in additional needs.

I have a Bachelor of Teaching with many years of experience working in early childhood education, also working in early intervention and child therapy.

I am situated on a property in the Orara Valley at Lanitza, with wide open spaces for the children to explore nature and learn some life skills from the land.

As a home-schooling mum myself to my 9-year-old daughter, I have a deep understanding of the needs and wishes of home-schooling parents.

• I offer a life and nature skills class featuring cooking, baking breads, making paper, growing vegetables from seed to take home, understanding life cycles and child led creative arts.

• I offer an educational approach with the focus on Math and Literacy, encompassing various ways of learning throughout the day. Activities will include rotation stations, creative arts and free play.
