Hi, my name is Kristy Chelman.

I am super excited to be teaching with Micro Classes Australia starting Term 1, 2025 for 7-10 year olds.

I have a Bachelor of Teaching with many years of experience working in early childhood education, also working in early intervention and child therapy.

I am situated on a property in the Orara Valley at Lanitza, with wide open spaces for the children to explore nature and learn some life skills from the land.

As a home-schooling mum myself to my 9-year-old daughter, I have a deep understanding of the needs and wishes of home-schooling parents.

My classes: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 9:45am - 2:30pm.

• Wednesday I will be offering a life and nature skills class featuring cooking, baking breads, making paper, growing vegetables from seed to take home, understanding life cycles and child led creative arts.

• Thursday and Friday I will be offering an educational approach with the focus on Math and Literacy, encompassing various ways of learning throughout the day. Activities will include rotation stations, creative arts and free play.

• January 2025: Holiday Program to help settle in before Term 1.
